Support Team

Joey Glanvill: Joey comes from Salisbury and has completed a BTEC National Diploma in Horse Management at Sparsholt College and has also worked as a Groom for 3 years at Manor Farm Livery. Joey has a passion for Eventing and was delighted to be offered a position with Vittoria in December 2014 enabling her to fulfil her ambition of working and training with a top event rider.

Sarah Bullen, Trainer: Vittoria's horses were based on Sarah's Hampshire yard for 9 years until December 2009 when she moved to Gloucestershire. Vittoria owes her achievements to Sarah since she moved from Italy in 2000, Sarah has taught Vittoria a vast amount in all aspects of horsemanship, and her great experience on the eventing circuit has enabled her to give Vittoria invaluable advice and training as well as vital support at all major championships and 3-day events. Vittoria could never thank her enough.

Lizzie Doolittle, Head Girl: Lizzie is from Worcestershire, she studied at Hartpury College 2008-2010 gaining a National Diploma in Horse Management, during which time was an active member of the Development Squad in the Equine Acadamy. Lizzie is also a BHSAI Instructor with a BTEC in carrying Heavy Goods/HGV and NVQ and has previously worked as Head Girl for Austin O'Connor Eventing.

 

Lizzie has two horses, Shop DJ currently working towards competing at Novice level in 2015 and Penstrumbly Jubilee who had their first CCI** run in 2014. Lizzie secured her position as Head Girl with Vittoria at the beginning of 2015 to gain more hands on eventing experience and has proved to be a valuable asset to Vittoria's Team.

Bryony Milton: Bryony comes from Coventry joined the team at the end of the 2014 season having just graduated from Exeter University with a Geography Degree. Bryony has had previous work experience with Mary King and William Fox Pitt where she caught the eventing bug and was delighted to secure a permanent position with Vittoria and has proved herself to be a valued member of the team.

Jonny Keen, Horse Dentist: In 2008 Jonathan graduated from Hartpury College. During the three years of his degree he was able to gain an extensive range of knowledge, not only in the developing field of equine dentistry but also the other aspects of equine industry. He has a great quiet way with the horses that put up with his work surprisingly patiently so that he needs no help as he works his way round the yard (www.pimburyequine.co.uk).

Grace Fairburn, Team Physiotherapist: Grace studied at Oxford Brooke's University as an undergraduate, before qualifying as a veterinary physiotherapist through Middlesex University in 2012. Has worked for Vittoria since 2012 and also IRVAP (Institute of Registered Veterinary Physiotherapists) registered as well as on their Council. Grace is valued member of the team, click here to know more about her. 

Sarah Cruickshank, Veterinary and Human Physiotherapist: Sarah followed Bug and Vittoria to the Beijing Olympics where their brilliant result would not have been possible without her help to both! She is also a much missed friend and ex-housemate as she has had to return to New Zealand.
