Bug sadly passed away on 15th February 2014 at the age of 19. Bug always had lots of character and a great sense of humour, he was a big show off in the ring and the bigger the crowd ... the higher he jumped. He is very sadly missed but certainly not forgotten by not only Vittoria and her Team but also by his legions of fans.
Bug won several Advanced and International events during his career and was a member of the Italian team 4 times, European Silver Medalist in Young Riders, 16th & 8th in Seniors and individual 16th at the 2008 Olympic Games. In 2012, Bug won the Castle Martyr dressage challenge near Ballindenisk performing the Olympic test. Bug's favourite venue was Belton Park and made it his own, he won the Under 25's section in 2005, 2nd in the advanced in 2006, winner of the Grantham Cup in 2007 and 4th in the AI in 2008. In 2013 he had some top results at 3* level including 2nd at Oasby in October 2013.
