In 2011 patch joined the team to start an eventing career, he made rapid progress maturing mentally and physically. He is an athletic and capable horse who likes to be kept busy! He had good xc clears and really enjoyed himself, his concentration improves as he is challenged with higher levels and he progressed to an excellent 3rd place in the Novice at Broadway to close his first season. In 2012 he consolidated his experience at Novice level with a win at Purston Manor with a fast double clear in wet conditions, progressed to Intermediate successfully during the summer and completed a CIC *** double clear in South of England (Sept. 23rd) and 9th with double clear at Oasby OI, but he shows sufficient scope at home to suggest he could go even further. 2013 has been a very important year for Heartbreaker, as he completed some important clear rounds at intermediate level!
